At Perskie Photographics, we understand that as exciting as it is to plan a wedding, it can be quite an undertaking, so here are a few items to consider when searching for a wedding photographer.

 
When shopping for Wedding Photography, consider the following tips
 

• It is important to see a studio’s photos in person. You want to see several FULL albums with at least 100 images from each wedding, rather than multiple events in the same album; anyone can cherry pick a few images from different events.
• Are they a well established photographer, not just someone who meets you in a coffee shop, or who does this part time from their basement?
• It would be prudent to find out who would be your wedding photographer in an emergency. A one person studio may not have a reliable professional photographer with two full sets of equipment!
• Are they a “Local” Wedding Photographer or a national or regional chain?
• Are they recommended by at least 3 local venues/caterers? People in the industry know who the good wedding photographers are or they would not be recommending them! If they are recommended by one vendor, they might be a friend, but 3 or more, not likely
